Riverbend Landfill is changing. Our motto, "Think Green", along with new technologies, is shaping our future.
Local energy producer. Wildlife habitat. Poplar tree grove. Recycler. Community partner. These descriptions may not be the first that come to mind when you think of a landfill where the primary purpose is waste management for communities... but change is around the Riverbend.
Our new green energy plant is now under construction and will start producing renewable energy this summer. This exciting partnership with McMinnville Water & Light will produce enough green energy to power 2,500 homes and businesses.
